Customizing Your Dashboard Layout

My Dashboard starts with a default layout, but you can move and resize any widget to create an arrangement that suits your workflow. Changes are saved to your account and will load each time you navigate to your Dashboard

Entering Customize Mode

  1. Open My Dashboard from the left navigation menu.
  2. In the top-right corner of the page, click the Customize button (pencil icon).

When Customize mode is active:

  • A dashed green border appears around each widget.
  • Three additional buttons appear in the toolbar: Add WidgetSave Layout, and Done.
  • A small gear icon and × icon appear in the top-right corner of each widget.

Moving Widgets

  1. Click Customize to enter edit mode.
  2. Click and hold anywhere on a widget's title bar.
  3. Drag it to the desired position on the grid.
  4. Release to drop it in place.

Other widgets will automatically shift to make room.

Resizing Widgets

  1. Click Customize to enter edit mode.
  2. Locate the resize handle in the bottom-right corner of the widget you want to resize (it appears as a small drag indicator).
  3. Click and drag the handle to make the widget larger or smaller — both width and height can be adjusted freely.

Tip: Taller widgets are useful for My Projects and My Tasks, which benefit from showing more rows. Shorter widgets work well for Quick Search and Summary Cards.

Saving Your Layout

After moving or resizing widgets, click Save Layout in the toolbar. The button will briefly show "Saving…" followed by "✓ Saved!" to confirm the layout has been stored.

Important: If you navigate away before saving, you will see a warning that you have unsaved changes. Click Save Layout before leaving to preserve your layout.

Your layout is saved automatically when you click Done, so you do not need to click Save Layout first if you are finished editing.

Exiting Customize Mode

Click the Done button in the toolbar. The dashed borders and edit controls disappear, and the dashboard returns to normal view mode.
