Edit a Client
A client record is the central anchor for all work in Kudurru Stone. Every project, quote, contact, and communication ties back to a client. Setting up a client correctly from the start ensures clean records across projects and billing.
The Client Editor
The editor is divided into sections: General Client Information, Client Address, and a tabbed activity area below.

Tips
- Set the Scheduler Color early if you use the scheduling board — it makes this client's jobs visually distinct at a glance.
- Use Billing Info for anything a billing staff member needs to know that does not fit a structured field: net terms exceptions, PO requirements, invoice contacts.
- Account Standing can be configured to show an alert banner whenever someone opens a client with an outstanding balance or credit hold. Set this up in Settings > Account Standings.
- The Status field does not delete or archive a client — it only controls whether the client appears in dropdowns elsewhere. Inactive clients remain fully accessible from the client list.
- If a client has many projects, use Load More in the Projects tab rather than the global project search — it stays in context and is faster.
