There are seven colors, they are built in, and a project has one flag or none. Unlike a tag, a flag has no name and nothing to set up, which makes it the fastest way to mark a project and the fastest way to unmark it. ### Where This Is Done You set a flag from the Project Management panel of the project edit screen, or from the quick edit panel on the Project Dashboard. You show flags using the buttons on the Project Dashboard toolbar. There is no setup screen for flags, because the color list cannot be changed. ### What This Affects The seven colors are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Gray. They cannot be renamed, recolored, or added to.  A flag carries no label of its own. Hovering a flag shows its color name, such as Red, because that is all Kudurru Stone knows about it. What red means is whatever your team has agreed it means. Flags belong to the project, not to the person looking at it. Everyone in your company sees the same flag. ### How to Flag a Project 1. Open the project and scroll to the Project Management panel. 2. Click one of the colored swatches in the Flag row. Hovering a swatch shows its color name. 3. To remove a flag, click the first swatch in the row, the one marked with a crossed out circle. 4. Click Save. The flag saves with the rest of the project. ![](https://kb.kudurrustone.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-50-26-1265-PM.png?width=529&height=343&name=image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-50-26-1265-PM.png)   ### How to Show Flags on the Project Dashboard In order to show the project flag on the dashboard you would click the Edit Columns button to the right of the Current View.  From there you can select the Flags column to show for that particular view. ![](https://kb.kudurrustone.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-52-20-1810-PM.png?width=660&height=53&name=image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-52-20-1810-PM.png) Likewise, if you want to add a filter for the Project Flag, you can click the Filter button to the right of the currently selected view and check the box for project Flag.  This allows you to filter for projects with that flag. ![](https://kb.kudurrustone.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-57-03-1265-PM.png?width=660&height=55&name=image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-57-03-1265-PM.png) If you wanted the entire project row on the dashboard to change to the color of the Project Flag you can do that by clicking the Edit View button just to the right of the currently selected view. From there you can pick the By Flag for the "Color Rows by". ![](https://kb.kudurrustone.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-54-39-6708-PM.png?width=660&height=55&name=image-png-Sep-14-2026-05-54-39-6708-PM.png) ### How to Set a Flag from the Dashboard If you want to be able to quickly set the flag of a project you can do so by configuring the Project Quick View.  You would first click the Configure fields button to the right of the currently selected view and add the Project Flag.  This will allow you to quickly modify those project flags. This is the fastest way to work through a list.
