Renaming Your Dashboard

Overview

Your dashboard has a name that appears at the top of the My Dashboard page. By default it is called "My Dashboard", but you can rename it to anything you like — for example, your name, your role, or a description of the layout you've built.

How to Rename

1. Open My Dashboard.
2. Click directly on the dashboard name at the top of the page (it will highlight to show it is editable).
3. The name changes to a text field with the current name pre-filled.
4. Type your new name.
5. Press Enter or click anywhere else on the page to save.

A small ✓ indicator will flash briefly to confirm the name has been saved.

Cancelling a Rename

If you change your mind while editing the name, press Escape. The name reverts to what it was before, and no changes are saved.

Tips

• The name can be up to 100 characters long.
• You do not need to be in Customize mode to rename your dashboard — you can do it at any time.
• The name is visible only to you; other users see their own dashboard name.
