Time Off Policy Management
This tutorial describes how to add and Manage your Time Off Policies
When you add Time Off Policies to your account, you can assign those to your employee so that they can create Time Off Requests.
You can also use this information to see how much time off each employee has accrued, what your employees have requested and what has been approved and denied.
You can manage your company Time Off Policies from the Settings Menu as shown below.

From the Settings Menu you should see the "Time Off Policies" item. Click on that to be able to manage your companies Time Off Policies.

After the Policies page load you should see a list of your existing Policies. You can edit an existing policy by clicking on the Pencel to the right of the Policy.

Once the Policy Edit page loads you will be able to edit Policy Description as well as provide details regarding the Policy.
- Schedule of Accrual
- None - Time off will not be automatically accrued for this policy
- Annual - Hours are accrued when the member joins the policy and on January 1st each year
- Hours Worked - Hours are accrued when time worked is marked paid
- Policy Joined Date - Hours are accrued when the member is added to the policy at a prorated amount for the year. Hours are also accrued on January 1st each year
- Max Accrual Amount per Year - Maximum an employee can accrue in the year under this policy
- Allow Negative Balance - Does this policy allow the employee to request time off more than what they have available to them.
- Balance Rolls Over Annually - Does this policy allow time to roll over from the previous year
- Requires Approval - Does time off requests under this policy require approval
- Paid - Will time off under this policy be paid time off.
- Policy Color (Scheduler) - You can choose what color you wish to see these time off requests displayed as on the Schedulers.

After you have all your Time Off Policies entered you can then assign those to your employees through Settings Menu and then clicking on Manage Users to edit a user. Please see the guide above for managing uer.
Then, your employees can start requesting time off.
